UK ETA requirements for 83 nationalities in 2025

UK ETA requirements for 83 nationalities in 2025 - From January and April next year, 83 nationalities will require Electronic Travel Authorization to enter the United Kingdom. Travellers from the U.S., Canada, and 47 other countries will need Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) from January 8, 2025. Application will be open in November. The 49 countries are as follows:

  • St Lucia

  • St Vincent and the Grenadines
  • Barbados
  • Israel
  • Palau
  • Taiwan
  • Belize
  • Japan
  • Panama
  • Tonga
  • Botswana
  • Kiribati
  • Papua New Guinea
  • Trinidad and Tobago
  • Brazil
  • Macao
  • Paraguay
  • Tuvalu
  • Brunei
  • Malaysia
  • Peru
  • United States
  • Canada
  • Maldives
  • Samoa

Travelers from Europe will require ETAs from April 2, 2025, the ETA system will be open to Europeans from March 2025. The 34 European countries are as follows:

UK ETA was launched in November 2023 for citizens of Qatar and then extended to citizens of the GCC in February 2024.
