Overflight permits required for Argentina - Operators should be aware that all foreign aircraft now require an overflight permit to transit Argentinian airspace.To obtain an overflight permit, operators are advised to begin the process at least 72 hours before their flight.Humanitarian and emergency flights can secure overflight permits in less time and may apply over the weekend; all others must apply between Monday to Friday 8:00 (11:00 UTC) to 16:00 (19:00 UTC).ANAC are planning to extend these times to provide 24/7 coverage in the future. Permit application must be done via email, the content of which must contain specific information depending on the nature of the operation.Scheduled and non-scheduled commercial operations (Part 135)

• Route across Argentine airspace, calculated time in UTC, and entry point details
• Calculated UTC time and departure point from the Argentine airspace

Private non-revenue and General Aviation (Part 91)

• Name and license number of the pilot in command
• International airport of the last stop before entry (use ICAO designator)
• Route across Argentine airspace, calculated time in UTC, entry point details, and alternative route if applicable
• Calculated UTC time and departure point from the Argentine airspace
• Airport of destination (use ICAO designator)
• The purpose of the operation
• Email and telephone details
