Criteria for entering France

There are three lists of countries with differing criteria for entering France. Here are the details, the documentation required, and the exemptions to the rule.Green list This list includes member states of the EU as well as Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland, UK, Vatican, Australia, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, Thailand, and Singapore.Passengers arriving from these countries are not limited in their reasons for traveling to France.Document required:

• Public Health Passenger Locator Form must be filled and given to the handling agent on arrival
• Sworn statement of the absence of COVID-19 symptoms must be filled in and presented to Border Police on arrival
• Exemption Certificate during Lockdown must be filled in and presented to Border Police on arrival
• No COVID-19 test result is required

Scarlet listThis list includes South Africa, Algeria, Bahrain, China, UAE, Ecuador, USA, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Lebanon, Morocco, Panama, DCR, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, and Zimbabwe.Passengers from these countries are not authorized to enter France but can be exempted for some reasons given in the International Travel Certificate to Mainland France.Document required:

• Public Health Passenger Locator Form must be filled and given to the handling agent on arrival
• Sworn statement of the absence of COVID-19 symptoms must be filled in and presented to Border Police on arrival
• Exemption Certificate during Lockdown must be filled in and presented to Border Police on arrival
• International Travel Certificate to Mainland France must be filled in and shown to Border Police on arrival
• A negative COVID-19 test result undertaken less than 72 hours prior to arrival is required

It is the operator’s responsibility to ensure that every passenger over the age of 11 carries with them proof of a negative COVID test result as this is compulsory before take-off. If any passenger fails to present this document, a quarantine order will be issued by Border Police. The passenger will only be able to end quarantine by achieving a negative PCR result. Therefore, it isn’t possible to get tested on arrival at the airport.Red listThis list includes any country not listed in the Green or Scarlet lists.Passengers from these countries are not authorized to enter France but can be exempted for some reasons given in the International Travel Certificate to Mainland France.Document required:
