There are two gateways to Johannesburg, OR Tambo International Airport and Lanseria International Airport. Here's our advice to operators regarding access, parking, immigration, accommodation, and security.For operators headed for Johannesburg, we recommend Lanseria International Airport (FALA) as the best airport to use for all aircraft types up to B757 because it is only a 22-minute drive to Montecasino compared to the 37-minute drive from OR Tambo (FAOR). Immigration

• All crew regardless of nationality will be visa-exempt for 7 days, only a few nationalities are required to have a visa prior to arrival should their stay exceed 7 days
• There is no visa on arrival at either FAOR and FALA

• Yellow Fever certificates are required for those operating from Yellow Fever affected countries, should crew or passenger be unable to supply these documents to Port of Health they will be deported back to the country of origin
