In what was by far the most challenging ferry flight mission I’ve ever experienced in a career in which I’ve accumulated 11,000 flight hours in both fixed and rotary wings, I can safely say that without UAS’ precious and continuous support, I truly doubt we could have been successful. Shanghai Hongqiao closes for international BizAv operationsShanghai Hongqiao closed to international BizAv operations: There are no international private jet operations allowed at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (ZSSS) since August 1 due to renovations of the airport’s FBO custom facilities. According to the UAS China team, construction may continue for several months and there is yet no confirmed date when ZSSS can once again welcome international BizAv flights.
